Good morning from Berlin,
Do you also think that I wrote long enough texts this week? So today, just this photo (and very few words).
It shows the Magdeburg Cathedral (I visited the German town yesterday, going to an exhibition about Otto the Great, who lived from 912 to 973 and was an important historic character for Germany since he unified all German tribes into a single kingdom). The cathedral is an outstanding art of engineering! Though it was constructed over 300 years, starting from 1209, and the completion of the steeples took place only in 1520. Such a long construction period would probably not be accepted today. ;-)
But seriously, isn't it worth thinking about what a different rhythm of life people had in the past compared to today?
Have a nice weekend!
Onwards,
