P: Good morning, Economist.
E: Good morning, Photographer.
P: I’ve seen that you gave our walks a name: Walk On.
E: Do you like it?
P: It's ok. Look, I brought you a video. It's by one of my favourite bands, U2, and the song has the same name: Walk On.
E: Let's watch it.
P: Do you like it?
E: It's ok. I like the ending best. Bono, the singer, is wearing a t-shirt with the portrait of the Burmese politician Aung San Suu Kyi.
P: U2 dedicated the song to her. The video was shot in 2000. At that time, Suu Kyi had already been under house arrest for five years. Who would have thought back then that she would have to do this for ten more years, that she would then be released from house arrest, become Prime Minister of Myanmar, and now, after a military coup in 2021, be under house arrest again?
E: Nobody. What do we learn from this?
P: That the future cannot be predicted. The future is created day by day by all of us. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.
E: Let’s create a future for the better.
P: Yeah, let's walk on.
E: Have a nice day, Photographer.
P: Same to you.
