I had to think of the idea of freedom of choice with its core that the consumer is the best judge of their own welfare.
It's hard to think like that sometimes, isn’t it?
We often think we know better than others. For example, what people should wear or eat. I wondered how to buy and consume such a beverage. But someone did. And maybe he even liked it.
Not only economics knows that people are different. And I think it’s a good idea for a thriving and peaceful coexistence to assume that everyone knows best what is good for them.
